The Maine Indoor Air Quality Council is a Maine-licensed, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We charge registration fees to recover the costs associated with the production of our events and to raise funds to advance our mission: to create healthy, productive, and environmentally sustainable indoor environments through education, communications, and advocacy.
That being said, if you cannot afford the recommended registration fee, please do not hesitate to reach out to us to request a scholarship. As you can see from the above, a key element of our mission is education. If you stay home because of a registration fee, then we are not achieving our mission. We want you to attend, and we don’t want our registration fees to be a barrier to your attendance. Ever.
