Immediately, you will receive one or more emails with the following information:

  1. A confirmation of your registration and payment
  2. Any additional attendance information.

  2. Make sure the e-mail address you used when you registered is spelled correctly
  3. If you need assistance, contact MIAQC Executive Director Christy Crocker at 207-626-8115 or christy@maineindoorair.org.  (Please do not wait until the day of the program.)

You could pay half:

The Alfond Center for the Advancement of Maine’s Workforce has a scholarship program that will pay 50% of your training fees for trainings you attend between now and December 31, 2024 (maximum total allowance per person per year is $1200.) You must be a Maine resident, at least 18 years of age, and have a high school diploma, GED, HiSET or equivalent. If you meet these prerequisites, you can access these funds to support your attendance at the Residential Ventilation Installation Certification Course.

How to Access Alfond Workforce Development Scholarships

  1. Register and pay for IAQ & Energy 2024.
  2. Apply to become a member of the Maine Workforce Development Compact. Start the application process here: Become a Compact Member | HAF | MyMCCS Home. Try to apply for your compact membership no later than December 4, 2024. More information on Compact membership and benefits is available here: Maine Workforce Compact Info Sheet.
  3. After you have your compact membership number, you must REGISTER for funding on the Alfond Worksforce Compact registration page. If you fail to register on the Compact registration page by the Conference date of December 11th using your compact membership number, your 50% scholarship funding will not be available to you.
  4. MIAQC believes that registration fees should never be a barrier to attendance. Please contact us if you are unable to access workforce development funds and still need assistance to attend the conference.
